This KRA PAYE calculator for the year 2022 uses the new rates applicable to all individual incomes starting from 9th, February, 2021. The base salary taxable is Ksh. 24,000 and above. The rates for Personal Relief remain unchanged at Ksh. 2,400 p.m.

NB: Beginning from January 2022 after the gazettement of Finance Act No.8 of 2021, Insurance relief of 15% is applied to all NHIF contributions upto a maximum of Ksh. 255 for the highest NHIF band of contributions Ksh. 1,700.

NB: This PAYE calculator uses the monthly salary as the basis of PAYE calculations.
